Frequently Asked Questions

How far ahead should I schedule Motorcycle Transport?

While we can do same-day service in some cases, pick-up is subject to availability and we would much prefer to get orders at least a week in advance - this way you will be more likely to get a pick-up on your preferred date, and we will have more flexibility to schedule drivers.

How much time does shipping a motorcycle take?

Transit times vary widely, and depend on a variety of factors such as pick-up times, shipping distance, traffic and weather, as well as unforeseen breakdowns. Typically, moving a vehicle from coast to coast takes anywhere between 1 and 2 weeks. Moving up or down-coast takes between 3 and 10 days. Keep in mind that these are only very rough estimates.

Can I leave personal items in my motorcycle?

Generally, no - USDoT regulations prohibit auto carriers from shipping personal items, since they're not licensed to transport that type of cargo. For this reason, personal items left in cars or motorcycles at transit time are also not covered by insurance. If your motorcycle has saddle bags, they may be subject to an additional charge.

What is the difference between an Open and Enclosed Motorcycle Carrier?

Just contact one of our staff and they will help you place an order.

What payment forms do you accept?

Open-style auto transport trailers doen't protect your car from the elements. While your car is exposed to weather, open auto transport trailers can fit many more vehicles than enclosed trailers, and shipping this way is therefore far cheaper. Despite the open carrier, risk of damage is quite low

What payment forms do you accept?

Credit cards, cashier's check, cash and money order. We don't accept personal checks. Payment needs to be arranged and deposit paid before pick-up.
